Meet Your Health Coach

Your Enhance Health Check will be carried out by one of our experienced practitioners. Over the next couple of weeks we are introducing you to the advisors you’re likely to have for your session.

 

Get to Know: Katie

After volunteering on the day of the Grenfell fire, Katie saw the impact of the fire on the community first-hand, fuelling her interest in supporting people affected by the fire. Katie has worked with the north Kensington community for several years delivering clinics, adult weight management courses, cook & eat sessions and building partnerships with the local community services.

Are there any spots in West London that you’d recommend visiting?
“Westway sport and fitness centre climbing wall, give it a go its good fun and great exercise!”

Favourite book?
“I have two quite different favourite’s, ‘My Family’ and ‘Other Animals’ by Gerald Durrell, and ‘A Thousand Splendid’ by Suns-Khaled Hosseini.”

If you could have dinner with one person dead/alive who would it be and why?
“David Attenborough- for his knowledge of natural species, climate change and what humans can do to reduce our impact on the planet.”

 

Get to Know: Emma

Having worked for over twelve years as a nurse with a specialisation in diabetes, Emma is our office go-to for tips on balancing our sugar in-take and healthy eating habits! Emma’s qualifications also include a focus on sports science.

Are there any spots in West London that you’d recommend visiting?
“Science Museum, especially when they do their sleep over nights!”

Favourite book?
“I’m not really into stories, but love factual books on travel, human behaviour, science & food.”

If you could have dinner with one person dead/alive who would it be and why?
“My grandmothers, Ines & Rosa – cause I love and miss them, and they were both amazing cooks!”
